WELCOME to the Physician Recruitment Taskforce web site. We are a group originally formed by the Chamber of Commerce to respond to the critical shortage of healthcare workers in our community. Our primary objective is to recruit Family Physicians. In the course of fulfilling our mandate, we also assist in the recruitment of specialists, nurses, physiotherapists and a variety of other primary healthcare workers.
Family Physicians are a vital component of service infrastructure. Adequate medical service is important to the well-being of our residents, and an element businesses, industries and professionals consider when choosing an operating location. It is important that we have adequate primary health care for everyone.
The Taskforce is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and one full-time staff member, Andrea Hynes, Physician Recruiter Coordinator, who reports directly to the board.

Email Andrea Hynes recruiter with your CV to get the ball rolling. 2. Andrea will call you for an initial interview and discuss present physician employment opportunities in the area and set up a site visit to learn more about your needs and concerns. 3. With your confirmation of relocation, Andrea will assist you with your Canadian Work Permit and walk you through the registration application with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
